
Emilia Amper trio
Emilia Amper is one of Sweden's most sought after folk musicians, she is nominated for Swedish and American Grammy, Norwegian Grammy winner. She has been named musician of the year during the Swedish Folk & World Music Awards, she is world champion on the key harp, and the winner of the Nordic Composer's NPU award.
In her music, Emilia Amper combines a deep knowledge and love of Swedish and Nordic traditions with a boundless and open attitude to the key harp's possibilities. With her charisma, virtuosity and energy, she moves easily across stylistic boundaries and touches people in both small and large arenas around the world.
Emilia Amper plays in many different fortresses throughout the Nordic region and has many Norwegian partners including Ragnhild Furubotten, Frode Hatili and has played with the Trondeim soloists. Emilia Amper comes to Farsund in August with her trio Anders Löfberg, percussion and Dan Svensson on cello.
She is also a popular teacher in Sweden and abroad, gives workshops in key harp and Swedish folk music and teaches regularly at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.
