Gro Kjelleberg Solli & Øystein Sandbukt

Gro Kjelleberg Solli, from Nordmøring living in Os in Nord-Østerdalen, is currently working on the album "Stien eg fann" on the record company Ta: lik. This is her first solo album, and the first time she presents writing material. In addition, she serves traditional folk music and shows from Møre og Romsdal and the Fjell region.

Solli has previously participated in a number of stage productions and records. Two of the albums have been nominated for a fiddler award: "Til deg" (2003) with the vocal trio Tre Bevædelige Piger and "Juledrøm" (2006) with Majorstuen. Solli has also won A-class in vocals at Landskappleiken twice, most recently in 2012.

She has collaborated with fellow musicians Øystein Sandbukt, Marit Aspås and Erik Fostervoll for a long time, and together they come up with a distinctive expression that suits the music. Solli's self-written show "Naboens rocking chair" has been very well received, and is currently the A-list in NRK Møre og Romsdal.

Gro has been here before in various constellations and this year she and fellow musician Øystein Sandbukt participate with a folk song award project in collaboration with choir: Z from Stavanger. You will hear them at the church concert on Friday.
