Josie Duncan & Pablo Lafuente

Two years have passed since Josie Duncan and Pablo Lafuente won the BBC "Folk Awards". A Spaniard, a Scotsman, one guitar and one voice are the simple recipe for success of the young musicians. Josie sings as well in English as in the two Scottish languages Gaelic and Scots. The lyrics are highlighted by Pablo's dynamic and sensitive guitar playing. The duo serves a varied menu: Here are hundreds of years old ballads, Gaelic song (Puirt A Beul), labor songs and some self-produced material.

After joining forces in 2016, Josie and Pablo quickly became one of Scotland's most sought-after folk musicians.

The board of the festival has been so lucky to experience the duo live in Glasgow during Celtic Connections and it will be beautiful!
