Summer PEOPLE: Tønes in the Backyard tent

We are looking forward to occupying the Backyard tent again for an ever so small summer special, and invite you to SommerFOLK with Tønes!

Tønes' real name is Frank Tønnesen, he comes from the small town of Sokndal in Rogaland and is one of the country's best songwriters and lyricists. In the lyrics, he uses Sokndal dialect and tells witty and humorous stories about small and big things. Tønes has released 8 albums, 4 EPs and written his own book. He has won the Prøysen prize, the Dialect prize and 4 Spellemannsprize (3 for Vise and 1 for lyricist). In the Bakgårdsteltet, Tønes has Anne Lise Frøkedal with her on guitar and vocals.
