Family day at the Fort

30 August 2020 13:00–15:00

On the last day of the festival, we invite the whole family to a family day at Nordberg Fort.

There will be concerts, experiences and activities for the whole family. The museum has activities for children and we hope you will make use of the outdoor area and the exhibitions at the Fort!
If the weather is good, the concert will be held outdoors. The event is free!

Program:
13.00 Dance class with Tuva and Ina at Nordberg Fort.
Dance and music for young and old. Everyone is welcome here. Experienced dancing feet and new dancing feet!

Tuva is educated at the Norwegian Academy of Music with the Harding fiddle as her main instrument, but is also a skilled dancer and singer. She is, among other things, known from the trios VRANG and Raabygg.

Ina has an education from NTNU in folk dance, but is most of all a folk dancer who has tested many of the country's floors both on stage and in the hall and is an instructor for dance-loving adults and children.

Both are currently teachers for the folk dance group Barnefolk at Sandnes Culture School.

2 pm Concert with Åsmund Reistad, Ulf – Arne Johannessen and Birger Mistereggen
Last year, this trio had school concerts for all the primary schools in Farsund. The concert was so successful that we wanted them back when we now organize a family day at Nordberg Fort. There will be storytelling, dance, song and music that is familiar to young and old conveyed on harmonica, guitar, torades and drums.

Everyone will have to register for the event, keep 1 meter distance, good hand hygiene and cough hygiene.

The event is free!
The cafe and exhibitions at Nordberg Fort will be open.

Nordberg Fort

Nordberg Fort houses the Vest-Agder Museum Lista, and is a disused coastal fort from the Second World War. Located at the far end of Lista, it has good hiking opportunities, so here you can easily combine concert and culture - cool TOUR!
