Folk song again

Choir: z is a mixed choir from the Stavanger region with about 35 members. Conductor is Inger Vagle. The choir has been around for 25 years and has i.a. participated in four CDs with Ragnar Bjerkreim. They have had a number of concert collaborations with, among others. and Ole Paus, Kjetil Bjørnstad, Frode Fjellheim

"Folkesong på ny" is the title of Kor: z's latest musical project with folk tunes from Nordmøre and Rogaland. Øystein Sandbukt has arranged and arranged the music for choir, band and soloist. Soloist is Gro Kjelleberg Solli.

Musicians: Øystein Sandbukt, guitar, Svein Åke Bjerga, piano, Magnus Rød Haugland, double bass and Knut Egil Kristiansen, percussion.

This project was so successful that our artistic director wanted to invite them to this year's festival. Choir: Z can pop up in different places during the festival on Saturday. Both among the choir members and bands will get to see famous Farsund's faces.
