Dance, dance, dance!

Jutullaget is a Norwegian old dance group that was started in 1988, when Jon Amund Karusbakken, Inge Gjevre and Stig Ove Kveen joined forces. The group comes mainly from Vågå. The name comes from the legend of Jutulen and Blessomen.

Jutullaget consists of: Jon Amund Karusbakken, two lines, Inge Gjevre, two lines, Kjell Arne Kolden, two lines, Svein Ove Brun, guitar and Bjarne Odde, bass.

  • 1994 Norwegian champions in NM major playing, Norwegian Accordion National Association, Klæbu
  • 1996 Gold at the National Festival of Old Dance Music, Fagernes
  • 1996 Gold in 'Kappspel', NRK's old dance competition
  • 1999 Silver in 'Kappspel', NRK's old dance competition
  • 2002 Bronze at the National Festival of Old Dance Music, Førde
  • 2004 Gold at the National Festival of Old Dance Music, Oppdal
  • 2005 Gold at the National Festival of Old Dance Music, Harpefoss

The Jutull team plays for dance during the festival and we expect it to be dance non stop at BarOVER!
