PEOPLE on a hike - Erik Lukashaugen: "Hans Børli å je"

In the autumn of 2023, Backes Bu is being renovated, and we are taking the FOLK concert series at Backes on a tour!
You still get intimate, great concerts and a nice meeting place, but both a little here and a little there around the whole municipality.

Erik Lukashaugen is one of the country's busiest show singers, largely because his settings of the poems of the woodcutter Hans Børli (1918-89). Through the lyrics and the music, Elverumsingen takes its audience on a journey into the deepest spruce forests, where songs about the toil of forest workers, rights for all, dreams and community involvement serve as the light from the bull fire. Erik Lukashaugen is himself a critically acclaimed copywriter and spices up the performance with some of his most popular shows interspersed with a few pinches of humour. The concert is organized in collaboration with Folkeakademiet and Nordberg Fort.
