Pop Up Folk

We are the festival where people meet people! This means that we want to be where people are, and that the threshold for going to our concerts should be low. That's why we use arenas throughout the municipality, and send our musicians to schools, kindergartens, on walks, boat trips and occasionally we build completely new stages in places that many think is impossible. We think it's fun!

On Friday and Saturday during the festival, we want the folk musicians to pop up all over the center of Farsund, hence the name Pop up FOLK. So maybe you want to meet musicians and dancers from the festival at Amfi, in shops, in restaurants, pubs, on the square, on a bench or behind a bush. We don't know, anything can actually happen. But there will be music throughout the city, we promise!
