There must be dancing and there must be room for fiddle teams and bush games in Farsund Folk Festival. This year we are moving the dance to Husan who has long dance traditions. Just read here:

"When there was to be a ball in the city, there was a man who was absolutely necessary, he was inalienable. Without him, it was impossible to hold Bal. He was a Unicum. His name was Jakobi Jensen, but the whole town called him Kobi Spillemand. "

Kobi Spillemand played for weddings and parties for the poor and rich, and was always in place when events were arranged at Husan or "Slottet" which was people's nickname for this stately building.

When we move the dance to Husan in 2021, we want to honor this local fiddler and invite various fiddle teams to meetings.

Participating Spellemannslag is in 2021:

Wild straw,
The girls' pleasure,
Hægebostad Accordion Club,
List Accordion Club.

Due to the corona virus, there will be limited capacity, and we ask everyone who dances to be in the same cohort, and keep their distance from the other dancers.
