Welcome to two intimate concerts at Backes Bu, Friday evening.
Backes Bu is intimate, low shoulders and two concerts for the price of one.
Friday's concerts the first concert is with the Norwegian Stampsstuen.
Stampestuen picks up forgotten songs about strong personalities with captivating life stories. On their debut album "Letters from America" they interpreted songs by some of the many Norwegians who migrated to America. Their latest album (to be released in autumn 2021) is dedicated to songs about thieves, murderers, beggars and drivers - people who for various reasons ended up as outsiders and enemies of Norwegian society in the 19th century.
We end the evening with the Finnish Johanna Juhola trio.
With her trio, the virtuoso accordionist Johanna Juhola packs her unique compositions into a multi-colored backpack and goes in search of new musical landscapes. Johanna Juhola is colorful fireworks and something you have certainly not heard in Farsund, or Norway before!
